This was a gift, and the person loved them and says they work really well and uses them every day. So I’m happy with the purchase.Very surprised at how big this product is. Great quality. Barely any tea leaves seep out.They're exactly as depicted, well-constructed, very cute. They work surprisingly well and are easier to clean than I expected. The base plug seats well, no tea leaf leakage, doesn't fall out during use, etc. The only minor issue is that the infusion holes are somewhat large, so they don't work well with very fine (broken up leaves) teas, but then, very few infusers work well with fine teas. Some people don't mind tea bits in their tea, but I hate it. Fortunately, most of the teas I drink are whole leaf, so not an issue.This is also an exceptionally good value for the price. Two infusers, a spoon, and a cute little cloth gift bag. The spoon is cute, but crudely made. The rough, unpolished edges are a bit sharp. I wouldn't put this spoon anywhere near a mouth. It's also a very flat kind of spoon, so not great for scooping tea or sugar. It's so cute though, so we ended up drilling a hole in the handle and hanging it in a windchime. :) The cloth gift bag is really well made and super cute. I don't know if there's a variety of bags, but the one I got is Christmas themed, so I'm saving it to use then as a gift bag for something else.Overall, highly recommended!I purchased these diffusers to use when preparing loose leaf tea at work. The first time I went to use one with some pomegranate herbal tea, however, I got abruptly called into a work meeting.At first, my co-workers simply smiled at the cute unicorn hanging over the side of my mug. However, the smiles turned to strange looks as the tea - a brilliant, dark red tea - started diffusing from the holes in the unicorn's belly, making it look like there was a re-enactment of Julius Caesar ocurring in my mug. I quickly stirred it around to blend it together, which solved that problem. However, that wasn't the end of it - when my tea was finished diffusing and I picked up the diffuser, the bright red tea water was still trickling out of the holes in the belly, giving it the appearance of a bleeding unicorn corpse - an appearance that only was enhanced when the infuser came apart in the middle, revealing two halves of the unicorn, both stuffed with a brilliant red, wet, mushy mess, and leading to a fair amount of snickering from everyone nearby.I tried using it a couple more times, albeit in less distracting situations, before I gave up for reasons unrelated to the horrified amusement of my co-workers - the infuser is just too small to hold enough tea for my 16-oz coffee mug.FREAKING LOVE IT!!!I used my new infuser as soon as I received it. I was shocked to realize how big the umbrella infuser was. The cavity is nearly 3 inches in length. And over all length 5 inches. I was even more impressed how the tip came out for easy cleaning. The holes are small and perfect for finer teas. My new infuser will be my #1 infuser for now on.Love these! Got them as a gift for my spouse who is learning about loose leaf teas after a lifetime of coffees. These are cute and useful, easy to clean, easy to remove tea by removing both silicone ends. Just keep an eye on the umbrella tip!
